UNITE Speaker

I was one of three student speakers selected to speak at CCA UNITE (similar to the TEDX talks held at high schools). The theme was "Flourish" and I chose to speak about my journey as someone living with Aniridia and who is legally blind. I delved into how I have come to embrace my disability and no longer see it as a weakness but rather as a strength.

Youth Leadership Forum

I was selected as one of 50 individuals to attend the Youth Leadership Forum in Sacramento, California. During the summer of 2025, I spent a week at Sacramento State University and the California State Capitol, learning about the history and the importance of advocacy for individuals with disabilities. I walked away from this experience feeling empowered, confident, and proud of my uniqueness.

WORDLE Club

During my sophomore at Canyon Crest Academy, I founded the WORDLE club. Every Tuesday, like-minded puzzlers gather to complete and compete at WORDLE  and other New York Times games. During our meetings, we often share new tips and tricks to solving the puzzles as quickly as possible.

Promotion Speaker

I was the graduation speaker selected out of a class of over 420 students to be the 8th grade promotion speaker. It was a where I discovered that I love public speaking.
