Valley Center for the Blind
I was asked to be the keynote speaker for the Valley Center for the Blind at their 4th Annual Fundraiser Gala. I also agreed to paint and donate a piece of art to be auctioned at the fundraiser "Dining in the Dark". I shared my story and journey of being legally blind and the impact it has had on my life.

SDRC Access Fund
I created two pieces of art for the San Diego Rowing Club Access Fund Gala. My art was sold and raised over $2,000 which will enable youth throughout San Diego to have access to rowing who otherwise would not be able to afford to participate in the sport.

Gabby's Glasses
Gear for any sport is important and sunglasses are a critical piece of gear in rowing. Often young kids do not have sunglasses as they don't see the importance of them or are unable to purchase them. Due to the fact that sunglasses are such a huge part of my daily life, I have several pairs that I tried but that did not work for my needs. I donated over 20 pairs of sport sunglasses to the Boys and Girls Club so that they could be used during the Learn to Row event and so that they could take them home and integrate them into their lives.
